Salesforce has decided to give AI a go by partnering with Einstein GDP.
With the popular online platform, ChatGPT having reached a record number of users over the past year, many businesses have begun to take notice and implement a version of AI for their platforms. One of the companies included in this is Salesforce. Earlier last month, Salesforce announced they would partner with EinsteinGDP, an AI program created in 2016, for a version of AI on their platform. In what is being hailed as “the world’s first generative AI customer relationship management (CRM) technology” (Yahoo Finance), Salesforce will be using AI, not from the internet but from their current cloud databases to create a new refined system for parties on both ends of the selling process.
Implementing this will significantly elevate Salesforce for what they are known for. With the additional AI element, the selling process will be much easier from the seller’s perspective. Responses can now be based on the buyer’s information, history, and trends. This would mean patterns can be studied, and the program would generate the best optimal response for the seller. Not only would a response be generated, but minor items such as grammar would be caught with this. What were once preselected messages off man-made templates are now personalized messages generated based on the previous interactions made in the conversation. Discussions that were once difficult and needed to follow a strict template that took time to develop are now a response made by a computer program within seconds. The new interface would cut down on lead times tremendously. The most common complaints of Salesforce made by users have now been fixed.

Salesforce is a global company specializing in leads, sales, and products from companies to consumers and other companies. This process would include marketing and selling from one business to another business on an international level. An additional level of assurance can be made with AI by studying the barriers that may not have been caught in the human side of interactions. Especially within the international market, premade templates may only fit the correct approach; sometimes, a response needs to be sent out, especially when it comes to working with an international client base. EinsteinGDP could implement a custom response each time based on the items sent with a cultural aspect creating a more personalized experience. This would save much more time by eliminating the need for gaining research that has now been promptly generated. Adapting this from Salesforce can only help them and the companies that use it. Based on current trends, AI will quickly become the new practice in how companies run business.

Hi Justin! I did not know of this partnership before reading your article. I agree that AI will become the new normal for companies and will serve as a tactic to increase sales and efficiency.
