Penske Automotive Group

Penske Automotive Group (PAG) operates numerous car dealership domestically and internationally. They generate 32% of their total revenue in UK markets and additional 8% in other international markets such as New Zealand and Australia, with the rest in North America. However, the interesting part is their revenue mix and profitability is from more than just new auto sales. Almost half of their profitability comes from service and parts and used auto sales.

Penske’s growth has been more than new auto dealerships as well. They have moved into heavy distribution in Australia and New Zealand, as well as used auto dealerships like their acquisition of CarShop in the U.K market. They’ve also acquired a 15-acre vehicle preparation center in the large-scale UK market.
