In comes ads. With ads, a brand can reach people it would have had no chance at reaching otherwise. In fact, many users say that the primary reason they like social media ads is because they discover products and brands they don’t think they’d have found without them.

Additionally, current social ads platforms make it incredibly easy to understand how a given ad is performing and allows companies to take steps to instantly adjust based on their results. They can be very beneficial to a company even if the budget is slim.

So, how can marketers integrate ads into their social media strategy?

Options like this allow ease of use for people just starting out with ads, helping them through the process and letting them keep all of their social presence organized.

One may also keep in mind whether a platform allows shopping as well like Instagram or TikTok. Setting goals and metrics are also essential in the prep phase and will help marketers adjust the campaign later if needs aren’t being met.

More practices focus on the content of the ad. High quality imagery is a must as well as a call to action. The latter is incredibly important in enticing viewers to click through to the landing page. And while audio could be important for the brand, it may be best to stray from it as many consumers don’t appreciate ads with sound.

Finally, in order to begin using ads, it could be helpful to look at how other brands use them. Keeping an eye out whenever scrolling through the feed could give a brand ideas on how they want users to see their ads or what they want the ads to look like.

Ads are an incredibly important part of social media for a company, especially now when so many other companies are using them. They can help a brand stand out and introduce it to new customers. And the best part is, it isn’t difficult to implement them.
